How to make your Hotel reservation for Our Weddingmoon
Hello All!!
Here’s all the info that you’ll need to book your hotel room for our WeddingMoon. We’ve decided to keep it value conscious and stay at the Red Rood Inn at the Miami Airport. I’ve been dealing directly with the manager, John DeIrish, and he has been very very helpful. They’ll provide a shuttle from the Miami Airport to the hotel. (Now if you fly into Fort Lauderdale, there is a train that you can hop on in the airport for $3 that will take you right to the Miami airport. Taxi rides are about $75. We’ll discuss this later though). John is also going to work with me to provide transportation to the pier on Saturday morning. All transportation is included in the room rate. We’re not sure if it will be one big charter bus, or 2 shuttles, but he has promised me that we will all be to the pier on time.
Once we determine what time people are arriving and what not I’ll let you know if we’re going to do some type of dinner the night before. I’d like to at least gather and what not, but that’s still up in the air. On Saturday morning, a continental breakfast is included at the hotel. We won’t be eating on the ship until 1ish, so please feel free to enjoy the hotels’ offerings. Also, please keep in mind, this is a $99 a night hotel. It’s not the Ritz, so please keep your expectations in line with the pricing. Don’t be looking for the mint on your pillow. That will come on the ship! Well, they’re actually near the towel animal, but close enough. =) A friend of mine has stayed in this hotel, and she says it’s everything they promise. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the pool has always worked each time she’s been there. It’s not too far from either the airport or the pier. They do not have a restaurant, but they use the one in the Embassy Suites right next door. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. =)
